Up for auction a small vintage ship's lantern. It appears the lantern was white and changed to very light amethyst by the sun. The brass lantern measures about 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide

 

Commentary ... I fear that I have altered the expectations of some collectors by posting a lot of ships in bottles from the early 1900's that have been in "mint" or "near mint" condition. I assure you
