I got this years ago at the swap meet so I don't know any history but it is a WW 2 NAVY SHELL made into a ashtray look great on a desk or table as is

The handle is gone to time. There is two dents in the scabbard. Sword out of the scabbard is 34 inches. There is a good amount of the original blueing on the blade. I cant make out a makers mark on it
