This is an Antique Half Hull Model of a Paddle Steamer. The board that it is mounted to measures 36 inches long and 8 3/4 inches wide. The Half-Hull Paddle Steamer Model measures about 27 inches long.

 

An unusual example of Victorian shell art souvenirs. Pelican is celluloid I think--not porcelain. Diameter is 6 inches at widest shells. Check out my other Victorian shell art for auction.
