This auction is for a older vintage wire basket that was found in the basement of an old store building in Nebraska. Basket could have been used as a display piece, filled with boxes of items to sell

 

12 1/2 inches across the top and 11 1/4 inches tall. Dirty. Covered with soot and residue from use. Needs cleaning. Finish loss and small rust spots. No cracks or chips. Bail handle. Weighs 14 1/2 lbs

A gorgeous pair of Cahill cast brass (bronze ?) andirons, with what appears to be hammered aluminum 'third leg's/stands' on the back. They have a hammered 'key' look to them and the patina is amazing.
