Here is a great looking tube radio from the 1950's. This is a model R-615 .The radio plays great and sounds great .This is a 6 tube set so it picks up the weakest of stations.The case has been nicely

 

This GE 1941 Wood Case AM radio has some scuff marks. When I pluged it into the wall socket Some of the tubes came on and the front bulb tuner. There was no sound but looks like some wires were loose
