This rare and beautiful medal of silvered bronze is a "journee" which was issued in France to commemorate the efforts of the gallant Serbs who, assaulted on all sides by Bulgars, Austrians and Germans

 

The medal part measures 1 1/4 inches across. On the pin part it says GAR 47th Encampment Dept of New York Syracuse June 12 - 13, 1913. On the ribbon it says Delegate. On the front of the medal it says
