The bird measures about 3 3/4" in length, all brass, nice patina, it could use a bit of cleaning/dusting. The pin cushion and needle sharpener are missing, but the thumb screw clamp mechanism works we

 

First off let me say that I am not an antique button expert and I will try to explain or picture these buttons the best I can. I will be listing a lot of buttons in the near future from a nice collect

 

These 6 buttons are made of black glass. Two are 9/16" and the rest are 5/8' round. They have a silver luster. Four are in good condition. One has a chipped moon..One has a patent date Dec. 28, 1880.
