This is a neat old shaving brush. It measures4 1/3" long and the bristles are 2 3/4". It has a picture of a buffalo with buffalo, sterilized and Made in USA on the handle.

 

Don't know if the compact was made this way or shells and decorated top were someone's craft project. This is the way I acquired it. The compact is 3" square. In the center is a shell and pearl cluste
