Lovely antique solid maple needle case. Dates from the early 1900s. Top slides onto the base. Case measures 3 5/8" tall x 1 9/16" in diameter. Inside opening is 1 1/8" in diameter and approximately 3"

 

This is one of several patterns we found when cleaning our attic! Our house was build in 1903 so I'm guessing this pattern may be from the 1920's era. The envelope is very fragile and colored by age.
