Up for auction is a old antique 2 pc back full size violin for restoration. The lightly figured 2 pc curly maple back measures 14 3/16 by 8 inches. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the viol

 

At first glance it looks like a lighter case, but push button on side to open it up & reveal 3 compartments with 1 reed inside. It measures 1 7/8" x 3/4" x 3" tall.
