This auction is for an antique figural Turtle Sewing Type Tape Measure. Made out of some sort of sheet metal with a gold colored finish. In raised lettering the the Turtle's back is: PULL MY HEAD BUT

 

These buttons are inlaid with silver metal and are made of dark navy glass. No makers make that I can find. Chips on several but still nice for a vintage or civil war era costume. Approx. 7/8 inch.
