Vintage handmade, hand stitched quilt - 1940. The quilter's name and date has been embroidered on it. The backing is a yellow color. Not sure of the pattern name but it looks like stars and crosses. V

 

The 2 Waverly Bonded Fabric swatches are identical: both measure 48" across (width) by 30", which would be the length. The 2 swatches, side by side, would measure 60" by 48", or about 5' long (1.6 yd)
