*Merrythought Black Velvet Googly Cat* This is a sweet black velvet kitten made by Merrythought. She was probably made in the 1940s/1950s. Since I am not an expert on Merrythought I am not really sure

 

Great vintage jointed teddy bear, not sure who made it. Mohair body, hard filling. Felt pass in pretty good shape, possibly tag cut off on back seam. Some. Black paint in a few spots. About 13" tall.

 

He is in very good condition and the mohair is the longer style. He is 9 inches...has glass eyes and embroidery nose and mouth . Approx 1" missing mohair around the nose, not very noticeable due to hi
