The bisque head and leather body are not connected. The shoulder plate and head are unbroken except for a small chip on the lower front corner, see picture. On the back of the head it says DRGM377439.

 

Listed is an antique doll body for a bisque head doll. This body measures 17" with the torso measuring 8.5" length and shoulders measuring 4" across and the opening at the top for head measures 1 &

 

Lovely old Bisque dolls. The larger is stamped JAPAN on the back and she is 2 3/4 inches tall with wire holding her arms on. The smaller ones sit at 1 1/4 tall. They are also stamped but I cannot read
