This is a mid-century Victorian style foot rest made of tapestry with velvet edging and brass legs. This is a solid and sturdy footstool with no tearing, light wear and natural patina (not "cleaned").

 

Etage's ,French, early 1800's. From the home of a famous actor/singer of the early 20th century. These are sold as a pair, the price is for the two pieces. These were given for estate value of 4,000.
