I turned this stopper a few times and took pictures without the black plug to show the condition of the collar which has some cracks.

 

Nice antique drug store or general store counter top candy or apothecary jar. Fancy style thumbprint and daisy ground glass stopper. Heavy blow mold bottom. Slightly sun grayed. Measures 7.5"H x 5"W.

 

Vintage, hard-to-find mark, empty carbide container with its lid and "HARDSOCG TRADE MARK" in raised lettering on both sides! This flask/container/bottle was used by miners and other carbide lamp user
