Offered for auction are these 5 identical Vintage Brass Stanchions. I was told these were off of an old sailboat. I am not familiar with nautical equipment, so please bear with me on my descriptions.

 

This float has the following inscriptions from what I could make out : ATISFERA, DIA 5 1/2- 140MM, Tested To 275 FATHOMS, ...48 ATMOS, MANUFACTURED BY SUNDLETE-PORTUGAL. Appears to be very old. Happy
