Up for auction is a old antique 2 pc back ladies full size violin for restoration. The nicely figured 2 pc curly maple back measures 13 13/16 by 7 15/16 inches. The violin is lined and has 4 corner bl

 

Offered is an antique 4/4 violin. Stamped: 'Copy of Paganini' below the button, 'Germany' on the button. There is a deteriorated label which has printed on it: 'Nicolaus Amatus fecit in Cremona 16??'.

 

Meassures about 24 inches long. Old and in decent shape. Front wood piece needs to be reattached. Could use a cleaning. and needs to be restrung. Also missing one of the nobs where the string goes.
