I have some used, but in good condition, vintage 3 strand barn rope that measures 5/8" X 79'. There is an abrasion at the 91/92" mark which you can view front and back in the 2nd and 3rd pictures. The

 

Wheel is cast brass or perhaps bronze. Spokes are brass in the center and thread into the main wheel. The shaft and center screw are brass. The gear drive assembly is steel.
