This is the vintage and very hard to find Saura HB - 65G Gold Special Hand Bearing Compass With Box made in Tokyo, Japan. This compass is a very unique and useful navigational instrument. It comes in

 

Ships Cargo light. Brass, 14" tall 6" wide 1939 No. 8954 Great Britain. Missing the round glass the goes inside. All 4 of the glass in good shape. I have not cleaned it at all. Its just like I found.
