This auction is for a well made vintage tool by L.S. STARRETT CO. The tool is marked No. 454 and I believe it is a height gauge. Tool comes in what appears to be the original wooden box with a dovetai

This is a nice Stanley No. 71 double beam marking gauge. It has brass wear plates and the original points which are in excellent shape. Brass insert, under the thumb screw, on one side, is missing but

 

Condition:Good as Vintage.Blade is rusty and nicked. Please check Photos. It has been worn out for age, so it's hard to show original planing performance. Recommend for Japanese vintage carpenters too
