Sax is marked Evette Schaeffer Paris France 2992. The front is beautifully etched. All moveable parts move freely. One mother of pearl button top is missing. We are not familiar with musical instrumen

 

I don't know much about the instrument. My father bought it long ago in this condition and never repaired it. I think it would be called a short neck. Probably made in the 1700's but I am not an exper
