This is a nice old boat flag pole holder from the late 1960s and is in great serviceable condition! It measures 2 5/8" at the base, stands 2 1/4" at its highest point, and has a hole that is 1 3/16" i

 

The compass measures approx. 2 1/2 x 2 1/4. It is in a rotating, swivel mount and is held by a single screw in an approx. 3 3/4" pine wood box with a hinged lid. The bottom of the compass is marked, "

 

Coubro & Scrutton Sestrel B/T 1940 Ship Compass Antique? I do not know much history on this compass, not sure of the exact date, or if it was used on an actual ship. It appears to be from the 1940

 

THIS IS A POND BOAT THAT WAS A BOY SCOUT PROJECT. POSSIBLY A MERIT BADGE. ITS PRIMITIVE IN THAT THE HULL, ALTHOUGH IS HOLLOW AND VERY LIGHT, HAS TOOL MARKS ON THE OUTER SURFACE. THE DECK IS WELL DONE
