Usually it is the panties that get separated from a doll's outfit - in my case, it is the dress! These are from one of the hard plastic Maggie dolls from the late 1940's to the early 1950's - not sure

 

This trunk is rough, it was my Mother's and she was born in 1899, so I figure 1901 or '02. Hope someone will enjoy it!
