These buttons are inlaid with silver metal and are made of dark navy glass. No makers make that I can find. Chips on several but still nice for a vintage or civil war era costume. Approx. 7/8 inch.

 

This is a circa 1830 pin cushion with Welcome Little Stranger spelled out in old pins. Pin cushions like these were considered a social necessity in 18th and 19th century layettes. It measures 5" by 3
