Vintage Portable Excel Tube Radio - Untested and sold "AS IS"

 

This item measures about 6" by 3" and is about 2" thick. It has the number 732 on the little metal handle on the front and the words: WESTERN UNION and on the back it is embossed with:W.U.TEL. CO. CAL

 

This is a Edison console radio from approx. 1928. IN WORKING ORDER !! Some cracks in the legs and the finish is wearing in some places (see pictures) LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY. Made in the USA !! Additional
