This is a 1939 Lafayette Model JA7 tube radio. It has had the electronics refurbished. Faulty wiring and the power cord were replaced, most capacitors were replaced, and all out of tolerance resistors

 

Here is an original black rubber handset cord made by Western Electric in nice shape. Great for a deskset but it could be used on any phone
