The radio had a dull blackened finished. The body was repainted a battleship gray and the numbers were re-highlighted in red. The electronics were upgraded and the radio works on its a-m band clearly

 

These parts are from a Zenith 10-S-690. The speaker is in excellent condition with no tears or wholes to be seen. The model # is 49- ? - 442 The center letter is hard to make out. Looks like a H, B, o
