This is a Lufkin 372 folding caliper ruler. When open it is 12 inches and the brass caliper extends an additional 5 inches. The hinge opens easily. The caliper slides well. The wood surface is stained

 

All are very nice the miller falls no 8 the blade as no name the DUNLAP needs to be clean or just use the parts for the no8 miller fall other twi or very nice as some wear so look at pic thanks
