NOT POSITIVE OF THE SPECIES OF WOOD AND THE METAL IS NOT BRASS. VERY OLD WHEEL , WELL MADE. HUB IS 2 7/8 " THICK AND THE HOLE MEASURES 1 1/16" WITH THE KEY WAY BEING 7/16 X 1/8 +/-. THIS WHEEL MEASURE
