Makers name overstamped. To cut a a 1/4" cove. Some bruising to the heel and wedge, otherwise good. Stamped 5/8 and 4/8 on the heel (?)

 

This is a Stanley No 7C jointer plane, a type 9 that dates to between 1902 and 1907. The plane has been restored and repainted. The knob and tote are in excellet condition with no cracks or repairs. T

This plane is not marked Stanley nor #3. It has all the resemblances of a Stanley No. 3. I think at sometime Stanley made the Defiance. The Plane bottom is marked: Made in USA. On the plane iron is ma
