Quite nice for being VERY old. Shows its age some but I would say still very useable. By the one lever it says Pat'd 10- 12- 97. One the back lever it says STANLEY. The bottom is 6 1/4" x 1 7/8" x 2 1

 

I'm working on getting rid of tools (very expensive tools) that I am finding out I don't need. Hatchet is extremely sharp. It's used just like a broad hatchet. I only used it once, about 2 years ago.R
