I do not ever clean tools toys or anything. This will clean up nice. No breaks, corrugated bottom. Any rust that you see is light. Handle and knob got no cracks or chips. You can see the patent dates;

For yor consideration One wood and metal barn pulley. The diameter of the wheel is 5 inches. It is approximately 8 inches tall. There is a peice of wood missing from the wooden wheel. ( see picture #4

 

This is a nice example of a Disston 14" back saw with some of the original paper label still on the handle. The saw is straight, sharp and the handle is near mint condition.
