This auction is for a total of four (4) lovely antique gilted metal/brass buttons circa 1820s -1860s. The button shown in Photo 1 does have a marking on the underside, but it is illegible (Photo 12).

 

These knurled buttons measure about 7/16 inch in diameter. They have a shinny gold finish, which I believe is the result of gilding. Thanks for looking and good luck.
