This is a vintage Collins Homestead single bit axe head that is free of wood and in great condition with great makers markings It is 7 3/4" end to end and 4 1/2" across the axe bits and the head weigh

 

Nice antique 14" draw shave. The blade is marked with (W.U.T.Co 14) I don't know if this is for Western Union Telegraph Co., but that was what I was told. I see no issues as far as to it's condition.
